Serving as Story Ministry Resident
This Summer.
Two years ago, on a mission trip with my church, something unexpected happened. One night, a girl I had known for years, but never really understood, asked if we could share our testimonies. She began to share her story, the good, the hard, and everything in between. And then the next night, someone else shared. And the next. In just a few days, something shifted. Walls came down. People I had felt distant from suddenly felt close. I found myself laughing, crying, and genuinely loving women I had once assumed I had nothing in common with. That experience changed how I see people. I realized that behind every person is a story God is writing, full of struggle, redemption, and purpose. And when those stories are shared honestly, it creates connection in a way nothing else can.
This summer, I have the opportunity to serve as a Story Ministry Resident with The 3:15 Project in Atlanta. In this residency role, I’ll be learning and serving, helping others discover and share their stories through story formation, writing, and media. I’ll also support production and help create resources that equip churches and ministries to steward stories of life change.
I am hoping to raise $1,000 in missional support by May 15th which The 3:15 Project will match as an honorarium for the work I’ll be doing this summer.
Would you consider partnering with me? Whether through prayer, encouragement, or financial support, I would be so grateful to have you alongside me. You can give as you are able and feel led using the simple form on this page.
I’d love to keep you updated on what God does through this experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my story—and for considering being part of it.
Peace and Thanks,
Madison
